BREAKING: House Passes Ledbetter, Paycheck Fairness Acts

NPR is reporting that the House of Representatives has approved both the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act and the Paycheck Fairness Act.  The bills make it easier to bring lawsuits and administrative claims alleging discriminatory pay and allow for punitive damages in wage-and-hour lawsuits.
